Website Design & Development

From big ideas to tiny pixels, I craft websites that inform, engage, and aren’t afraid to show off—just enough to make you look twice.

Because of you website

A year-end message driven by creative direction and thoughtful storytelling, designed to show donors the true impact of their support through student voices and custom visuals.

I developed the concept and led the creative direction for an end-of-year stewardship message to Penn State donors—crafting every detail to make it personal, meaningful, and uniquely Penn State. I partnered with the College of Arts & Architecture to record a custom rendition of the Alma Mater, which I filmed as the anchor for the video. From there, I collaborated with students across the University—capturing footage and photos of them in their own environments to bring depth and authenticity to the story.

The final piece was delivered through a coordinated email campaign linking to a dedicated website that housed the video and offered a closer look at each student featured. The goal was a seamless, heartfelt experience from subject line to sign-off—and one that made donors feel seen, appreciated, and deeply connected to the impact of their giving.

Transforming a traditional print report into an interactive digital experience, I led the creative strategy and multimedia production to elevate storytelling and engagement.

For this project, I was tasked with transforming Penn State’s printed President’s Report on Philanthropy and Endowments into a dynamic digital experience—one that could extend the publication’s reach and fully leverage the strengths of the web. My goal was to preserve the integrity of the original print piece while enhancing it through thoughtful interaction, intuitive navigation, and rich multimedia content.

I filmed and produced video elements to bring stories to life, and directed photography for one of the featured profiles—mentoring a colleague through the technical setup and gear use. I also contributed several of my own photographs to the final piece. The result was a more engaging, accessible, and expansive way for users to connect with the impact of philanthropy at Penn State, all while maintaining a cohesive and elevated user experience from start to finish.

A clean, modern website and visual identity crafted to position a federal grant consultant as credible, distinctive, and confidently professional.

This website was part of a full visual identity project for a consultant specializing in securing federal grants. In addition to designing the logo, selecting typography, and building out a sophisticated color palette, I developed a clean, modern website that positioned the client as both credible and distinctive in a crowded space.

The site was built with future flexibility in mind—centered around a blog the client could easily manage and update. Instead of relying on generic stock imagery, we leaned into bold typography and a refined visual system to create a confident, polished look that feels both professional and personal. The result is a brand presence that stands out—without shouting.

A purpose-built website designed to house a multi-year video series, combining thoughtful architecture with cohesive visuals to support long-term engagement.

This website was designed to showcase and archive a multi-year video series, providing a clean, organized platform for users to engage with the content over time. I managed the production of all videos—coordinating shoots, overseeing editing, and ensuring visual and narrative consistency across the series. I also handled much of the photography, contributing to the overall visual tone of the site.

The site architecture was intentionally structured for clarity and long-term usability, making it easy for visitors to navigate the content—and for internal teams to update it annually as new discussions and videos are added. The result is a sustainable, user-friendly digital home for an evolving and impactful body of work.

A dynamic, multimedia website celebrating the impact of Penn State’s $2 billion campaign—designed to honor donors, showcase stories, and mark a major milestone with energy and style.

To mark the successful completion of Penn State’s $2 billion Greater Penn State fundraising campaign, I designed a celebratory website that captured the scale and spirit of this five-year effort. The site combines video, photography, and storytelling to highlight the tangible impact of philanthropy across the University.

I incorporated visual assets from a variety of sources—including my own video and photography work—to create a cohesive, engaging experience. Subtle animations, thoughtful layout choices, and strategic pacing helped bring energy to the page while honoring the donors and stories behind the numbers. The result is a polished digital milestone that reflects the heart of the campaign and the community it supports.

Big Ten Development Conference Website

Designing for fourteen rivals, one stage—I created a balanced, collegiate visual system that unified the Big Ten without playing favorites.

As the host of the annual Big Ten Development Conference, I was responsible for developing the full visual identity for the event—including the website, printed materials, signage, and environmental design. The biggest challenge? Creating a cohesive and collegiate visual language that represented every Big Ten institution equally—without giving undue weight to any single university (including our own).

Coordinating the correct logos, colors, and formatting from each institution was no small task, especially across so many touchpoints. I intentionally avoided any school-specific colors and instead developed a neutral, balanced palette that complemented the range of materials while subtly highlighting our Happy Valley home base. The final result was a thoughtful, well-executed system that felt unified, inclusive, and unmistakably Big Ten—without stepping on any toes.

Translating a polished print brochure into a cohesive, professional website that confidently extends the boutique engineering firm’s brand into the digital space.

This website was a natural extension of visual identity work I completed for a small boutique engineering firm years earlier. I had previously designed their print brochure—handling everything from layout and copy direction to custom photography—and was now tasked with translating that foundation into a polished digital presence.

The goal was to provide the firm with a professional, credible online home that aligned with their brand and positioned them confidently in the marketplace. By building on the existing visual identity, I was able to create a site that feels cohesive, intentional, and reflective of the firm’s expertise—proof of legitimacy, without sacrificing personality.
